In 1953 there was a Senate Investigation brought on by Charles Tobey. This investigation was centered around the medical institutions, the FDA and the FTC. The ultimate conclusion was that all of these organizations conspired to suppress viable alternative therapies to cancer treatment in lieu of radiation and drugs.
It all started out when the son of Tobey got cancer. His doctors gave him a very short time to live and pushed him in the direction of radiation treatment. Not wanting to go down this avenue, he sought any and all alternative therapies to save him from a death sentence. He had heard about some treatments and when he approached his doctors about them, he was quickly shut down. Ultimately opting for one of these “alternative” therapies, he completely eradicated his cancer and went on to live a long life.
This was not lost on his Father and because of this he began an investigation as to why the cure his son got was not being used. Not only not being used but getting ridiculed by those in the medical establishment.
You can find the meat of the investigation here and here.
It’s also said that the report itself was suppressed from the public until just recently because of the problems it will bring to our medical establishment.
From the report, some of the conspiring agents in this are:
- American Cancer Society
- Lincoln Foundation
- University of Illinois
- University of Chicago
- The American Medical Association
- The Babe Ruth Foundation
- International Cancer Research Foundation
- Crocker Caner Research Fund
- International Cancer Research Foundation
- FDA
and the list goes on and on….
Just from the perspective of a general observation on our current medical industry, you can see that it is a huge money maker. The pharmaceutical companies alone make billions of dollars in net revenue on us per year. If you think about it from a business perspective it would make more sense to not offer cures for diseases, but rather, offer drugs to alleviate the symptoms. That way we keep shoveling money into their products… keep the customer dissatisfied and you will have a steady stream of revenue. I read a number that put the total amount of money collected on someone who goes through the standard cancer therapies at close to 1 million.
So you can see there is no real incentive to actually cure cancer because they have a huge stream of revenue coming in.
One interesting thing I ran across had to do with something called oxygen therapy. There is an curious read on it here which deals with anaplastic thyroid cancer. If true, then this could be something great.
It basically deals with the ingesting of food grade hydrogen peroxide to oxygenate the body. Apparently disease cannot exist in an oxygen rich environment so it just dies off, leaving the person cancer and disease free.
Anyway check it out… I am not too sure about it and would like to see some real research done on it.
I’ll try to bring in some other resources on this in a later post.
